    In 2021, China's Internet industry showed the following development characteristics.

    First, it was be guided by the strategic thinking of strengthening the country through the Internet, and the infrastructure has reached a new level. By the end of 2021, my country has built and opened a total of 1.425 million 5G base stations, built the world's largest 5G network; China’s total IPv6 address resources rank first in the world, and its computing power rank second in the world.

   Second,leaded by the self-reliance and self-improvement of science and technology, China made a new progress in the field of technology. In 2021, emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, block chain, and quantum information have ranked first in the world; the number of PCT international patent applications in my country's information field has been exceed 30,000, accounted for more than one-third of the world's total.
   Third,been guided by the people-centered ideology, China has integrated applications to empower new development. In 2021, China has more than 1,800 "5G + Industrial Internet" projects under construction, covered more than 20 key industries of the national economy such as steel and electric power; the scale of my country's digital economy has increased to 45.5 trillion yuan, ranked second in the world in total; The global ranking of the government affairs online service index rose to 9th.

   Fourth, to safeguard national cyberspace security as the starting point, cyber security ushered in new opportunities. In 2021, China's network security industry has been generally stabling and improving, and the network security service market expand rapidly. The industry scale was about 200.25 billion RMB, with a growth rate of about 15.8%.

   Fifth, with the creation of a digital world of mutual trust and common governance as the driving force, new achievements have been made in network governance.

   Sixth, based on the consensus of building a community with a shared future in cyberspace, international cooperation will create a new situation.
